Erick Sheftic, MD (he/him/his) is a board-certified Psychiatrist practicing in Madison, Wisconsin.

He received his BS in Biology with Minors in Chemistry and Psychology from The College of Charleston, his MD from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, and completed Psychiatry Residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. He has experience in a variety of practice settings, including academia, private practice, inpatient care, outpatient care, interventional psychiatry, and community psychiatry. He especially enjoys teaching opportunities and quality improvement initiatives.

As a member of the Osmind Community Advisory Board, he hopes to contribute his on-the-ground knowledge of psychiatry practice, with special attention toward reducing clinician burnout, improving systems of care, and harnessing modern and emerging treatments.
